HAIR EXTENSION TYPES

We know that choosing hair extensions requires additional commitment due to the time and expense involved in having them applied. For this reason, we offer Remi East Indian Temple, Remy Armenian, Remy Brazilian, Remy Peruvian hair extensions because of our confidence in them and experience with them. All of these extensions are full of body, long lasting, soft and beautiful. Our wefts are the best in the industry. East Indian Temple Remi is the most popular type of cuticle for hair extensions. This product is never dry or stringy and comes in naturally straight, deep wave, spanish wave and Jamaican wave textures. Remi extensions have all cuticles intact and are unidirectional. These attributes, combined with proper care and attention, allow your Remi extensions to be virtually tangle-free.

Remi hair is available in up to 81 different colours and range in length from 14" to 26". We can also customize the right shade, tone, and colour to compliment your skin tone.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR HAIR EXTENSIONS

It is important that you follow these hair care tips so your new hair extensions will last as long as possible:

WASHING AND CONDITIONING

Wash and condition and your hair every three to five days, following these guidelines:

• Hair needs to be knot-free BEFORE wetting.
• Extensions do not receive the natural oils from your scalp, so it is important to wash hair properly. Always use a low PH shampoo and conditioner.
• Because some shampoos can be harsh, pre-condition your extensions before washing. Simply apply conditioner to hair without rinsing, then wash hair normally and follow with normal conditioning.
• Shampoo scalp only with the fatty pads of your fingers and allow the suds to run through your hair length.
• Never rub extension hair back and forth when wet with hands or towel in order to prevent knotting.
• Shampoo and condition hair while in the shower (avoiding washing hair in a sink or in a bathtub to avoid any knotting and tangling).
• Apply large amounts of conditioner to your hair.
• Use a leave in conditioner.
• Use a dry shampoo to absorb oils if needed.
• Rinse hair with lukewarm to cool water, being careful and to make sure to eliminate all shampoo from your scalp to avoid residue build-up and dandruff.
• Squeeze excess water out four to six times. Don't wring—just squeeze.

ADDITIONAL CARE INFORMATION

• Oil based styling products, flat irons and curling irons can soften the keratin, Tape, or adhesive attachments. Do not flat iron or apply heat directly to the keratin appendages.
• Always brush out all knots before you wash your hair or go to sleep at night.
• Use a soft bristle brush starting from the bottom and gently working your way up at least once a day. Do not tug or pull at the hair. Do not use boar bristle brushes.
• At night, tie your hair up gently or braid.
• Never go to bed with wet hair.
• If you have braid extensions, run your fingers though the braids to help prevent tangling.
• Schedule regular appointments with your extension expert to monitor your own hair, scalp and extensions. Start with a two week follow-up appointment, and then every six to eight weeks after that.
